Your code is hard to read and probably not working. We have no idea about how your documents were created and what object are within the document so the best we can do is to point you to the supplied tools. ![]() Is there some way of changing the redact function to not destroy averything around it?Īlso, the big question is if Adobe has already created a find and replace function that works perfectly if you manually enter everything in, why is that same function not available in the action wizard? I'm not the first person to run into this problem and don't understand why Adobe excluded a key function they've already developed from a batch process. It even snips and shatter overlapping text boxes into multiple parts - I tested it out. ![]() The only issue I've run into is that, despite setting all background colors to transparent, applying the redaction still whites out anything around or ontop of the redacted text. ![]() I've been able to get some partial success with the action wizard by using:ġ) Search and Remove Text (highlighting the target text for redaction)Ģ) Execute Javascript (*custom* changes the overlay text of the redaction to that of the intended text, makes the background transparent and the font color black )ģ) Apply Redactions (executes the redaction by removing the previous text and applying the overlay text) I've already read Rick's Guide, but thank you for the reference.
